Managing Director

Jo Childs is the Founder of MindPsy Talent, a specialist recruitment and talent ecosystem focused on psychedelic medicine, mental health innovation and consciousness-informed leadership. With 25 years' experience across recruitment, digital health, clinical talent strategy and start-up leadership, she has built teams and companies in both the UK and Australia, including serving as CMO for a MedTech company spun out of the CSIRO.

She is also the creator of Jobs in Psychedelics, a dedicated platform designed to connect clinical, scientific and therapeutic talent with opportunities across the emerging field.

Her work is shaped by two decades of exploring spirituality, consciousness, sacred plant medicines and altered states of awareness. This lived experience allows her to see beyond traditional career narratives and tune into where a person's skills and deeper gifts are most aligned.

Jo partners with visionary clinics, researchers, psychiatrists and psychotherapists who are redefining mental health and human potential. She approaches recruitment as a practice of alignment, connecting people with missions and environments where they can contribute meaningfully and thrive.

Technical Director

Chris Brown is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years' experience building, scaling and guiding high-performing engineering teams across SaaS, digital platforms and data-driven products. His career spans CTO, COO and CEO roles, delivering complex software ecosystems for global brands including Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, BP, Asda and Honda.

Chris specialises in designing and architecting scalable digital platforms, translating complex ideas into intuitive, high-performing systems. He leads the technical development of the Jobs in Psychedelics platform, working in collaboration with MindPsy Talent to support the growing ecosystem of clinical, scientific and therapeutic roles in the field.

Alongside this, he runs CLB Digital, where he partners with founders and growing businesses to design and build robust, user-focused digital products.

Chris's leadership style is grounded, relational and people-first. He is known for translating complex technical challenges into simple, human-centred solutions, and for building systems that reflect the people who use them. His approach is shaped by curiosity, integrity and a deep appreciation for purposeful work.

Tom Shutte

Tom Shutte

Clinical & Therapeutic Advisor

Tom is an experienced psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, mentor and consultant committed to the ethical development of psychedelic medicines. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in psychedelic work, his practice spans retreat facilitation, harm reduction, and post-experience integration.

He currently works as a research therapist on clinical trials involving Ibogaine, 5-MeO-DMT, Psilocybin, DMT and Methylone, alongside his private practice at Tom Shutte Therapy, supporting individuals through therapeutic and integrative work.

Tom is a contributing author to the Manual of Psychedelic Support and previously held the role of Clinical Lead at Wavepaths, a company pioneering personalised music for psychedelic therapy. His work bridges clinical research, therapeutic practice, and the evolving standards of care within psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Raggi Gandham

Raggi Gandham

Clinical Integration & Talent Strategist

Raggi is a BACP and NCPS-registered psychotherapist with over 4,000 clinical hours and seven years of formal training, specialising in trauma, addiction, burnout and identity transformation. Her work supports high-performing professionals to explore the deeper patterns beneath surface success, helping those who feel disconnected or dysregulated move toward more embodied, conscious and aligned ways of living and working.

She has particular expertise in identity reconstruction and the integration of psychedelic and non-ordinary state experiences, bridging therapeutic practice with emerging models of care.

Raggi brings a rare dual perspective, combining two decades of leadership in recruitment with advanced training in psychedelic studies and mind-body therapies. She holds an MSc in Addiction Psychology and a PGCert in Psychedelics: Mind, Body and Culture from the University of Exeter.

Alongside her clinical practice at Essential Minds, she contributes to psychedelic therapy frameworks informed by MAPS and Johns Hopkins University models, speaks publicly on addiction and workplace stress, and is currently writing a book on psychedelic-informed therapy.

Tali Avron

Tali Avron

Clinical Research & Psychedelic Science Advisor

Tali Avron is a Clinical Trial Manager specialising in psychedelic research and medical cannabis, with a strong background in pharmaceuticals and healthcare. She has extensive experience managing clinical and observational studies from inception through to completion, ensuring compliance with GCP standards and navigating the regulatory complexities of emerging therapies.

Her work sits at the intersection of academia, industry and harm reduction, where she focuses on advancing evidence-based approaches to psychedelic-assisted therapy. Tali has led protocol development, regulatory submissions, cross-functional collaboration and training, supporting the delivery of safe and effective clinical research across diverse settings.

She has a particular interest in bridging traditional, underground and clinical perspectives, working to integrate these approaches through research, education and policy development. Her focus is on developing scalable models of care that prioritise participant safety, accessibility and ethical best practice.

Alongside her research work, Tali is Co-Founder of the Psychedelic Women Network, a global initiative supporting inclusion and collaboration across the field, and contributes to public dialogue through speaking, education, mentorship and advocacy.

Dr Paul Collins

Dr Paul Collins

Psychiatry & Clinical Innovation Advisor

Dr Paul Collins is a psychiatrist and anthropologist with over 11 years of senior NHS and private-sector clinical experience, spanning acute care, crisis intervention, community services, and extensive work in forensic and prison settings. His practice integrates psychiatry, social anthropology and systems thinking to explore the full spectrum of human experience.

He originally trained in Social Anthropology at SOAS before founding and running a rehabilitation social enterprise for 10 years. He later retrained in medicine at St George's University of London and completed MRCPsych in 2017.

His current work focuses on human-AI symbiosis in mental health, and he has developed several open-source frameworks including Flourish OS, First Breath and Spiral State Psychiatry.

Alongside his clinical and research work, Paul runs a private practice at Flourish Psychiatry, bringing a unique perspective on holistic psychiatry, psychedelic-informed care and the future of collaborative AI in clinical practice.

Himesh Mehta

Research & Strategy Advisor

Himesh Mehta is a doctoral researcher in the History Department at the University of Warwick, specialising in the history of psychedelic-assisted therapies, consciousness studies and global healing traditions. His research examines how cultural, political and scientific forces shape the development, regulation and practice of psychedelic medicine.

He holds a First-Class BA in History from King's College London and an MA in Global History from Warwick. His work explores the intersection of ritual, ethics, therapy and policy, drawing on cross-cultural perspectives and contemporary clinical research.

Himesh contributes to MindPsy by providing deep contextual insight into the emerging psychedelic ecosystem, helping ensure that talent evaluation, sector partnerships and community-building are grounded in historical understanding, integrity and cultural awareness.
